Who the heck are these weirdos?
Glad you asked! We are Daniel and Louise Lowetz, AKA, Dada Wolf and Louise Wolf. We are a father/daughter motocross duo living in Southern California, but originating from Northern Michigan. We are easy to spot at SoCal tracks: look for our black and white 1972 Dodge motovan, as well as our two black and white Siberian huskies, Shasta and Everest.
What's with the name?
Louise likes to pretend our huskies are wolves. She also likes to pretend we are wolves too, hence, "Louise Wolf" and "Dada Wolf". When she got her first dirt bike, I told her she needed an intimidating moto nickname. She chose, "Louise the Friendly Wolf". She says wolves are really awesome, but also scary. She wanted to be sure people knew she was friendly and wouldn't hurt them. When we started racing, we needed a team name. Bam, Friendly Wolf Racing.
To us, Friendly Wolf means being a friendly bad ass.
